Look down into the bottom of the valve and you ll see the seats and springs.

Remove the nut that holds the horizontal rod to the body of the pop up stopper. Lift the stopper out. Then remove the faucet handle body and set it aside. Place handle on stem and rotate counterclockwiseapproximately 1 4 turn after the stop has been contacted.

Insert an allen wrench into the rubber seat tilting it slightly to catch the spring. Test to see if water is leaking around the flange by plugging your drain with a rubber stopper. Toremove seats and springs remove valve cartridge. Reattach the nut that holds the horizontal rod to the pop up body.

For faucets purchased prior to 2007 please order rp1050 cap and rp61 cam and packing. Do this for both hot and cold sides. Do not cover the outside of the. If the faucet is leaking from under the handle replacing the cam and packing should solve the problem.
